Program Support & Fee Schedule

As a mission-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, our goal is to ensure no dog or handler is left without options during a crisis. The contributions listed below cover the actual baseline costs of high-quality, trauma-informed care, secure housing, and facility operations.

Through community support and donor funding, we offer subsidized rescue rates and fully sponsored crisis stays whenever funds are available.

Emergency & Short-Notice Dog Boarding

Standard Stay Contribution: $70/night

(Up to 10 days). Covers total daily operational costs, trauma-informed handling, full enrichment, and secure lodging.

Rescue Partner Subsidized Rate: $35/night

(Up to 10 days)Partially sponsored through community donations to support partner rescues and emergency foster placements.

Fully Sponsored Crisis Care: $0/Covered by Crisis Fund

For families and fosters experiencing sudden displacement, due to a human medical emergency, domestic violence, fires, or natural disasters. Fully underwritten through our Crisis Care Relief Fund (subject to availability).

Foster Respite Care & Short-Term Boarding

Standard Respite Support: $45/night

Provides routine short-term care for family vacations or essential handler mental health breaks.

Rescue Partner Rate: $20/night

Subsidized care designed to prevent foster burnout and maintain placement stability across local rescue networks.

Adoptability & Prevention Training

Community/Owner Rate:

$40/hr in-facility; $60/hr in-home

Rescue Partner Rate:

$20/hr in-facility; $30/hr in-home

(Basic Obedience & Placement Readiness)

Targeted 1-on-1 instruction focused on preventing surrenders, easing shelter transitions, and building long-term adoptability for dogs overcoming behavioral challenges.

Behavioral Rehabilitation Support:

Behavioral Intake & Assessment: $30

Dedicated evaluation for complex behavioral cases—including resource guarding, severe reactivity, and trauma recovery. Custom rehabilitation plans are structured following assessment.

Decompression & Low Stress Care

When a dog’s world is turned upside down, they don’t understand why. Our space is intentionally built to minimize stress, support predictable daily routines, and provide a peaceful environment for dogs during high-stress transition times.
Low-Stress Environment: A clean, healthy facility with low foot traffic to keep noise and anxiety to a minimum.
Freedom of Movement: Climate-controlled indoor runs with direct access to outdoor spaces so dogs can move comfortably on their own terms.
Home-Style Engagement: A dedicated living room area where dogs receive 1-on-1 human interaction—tailored to their comfort level through gentle play, TV/snuggle time, or quiet company.
Individualized Enrichment: Every stay is customized based on what owners or fosters share about their dog's favorite comfort routines.

Surrender Prevention & Caregiver Support

Protecting the bond between dogs and their caregivers—whether you're a rescue foster or a pet owner navigating hardship. Caregiver burnout and sudden personal crisis are two of the leading reasons dogs end up in the shelter system. We provide targeted support, temporary respite care, and practical behavioral guidance so dogs can stay out of shelters and with the people who love them:
For Families in Hardship: Stepping in during temporary life crises or difficult behavioral thresholds. We offer real solutions and temporary relief so owners aren't forced to give up a pet over a fixable issue or a rough patch.
For Rescue Fosters: Giving foster caregivers a much-needed breather during emergencies, medical fatigue, or complex behavioral cases—preventing foster burnout and keeping vital foster homes active in our community.

Emergency Safe Haven for Pets & Resource Navigation

Ensuring no pet owner has to delay critical human care or face a crisis alone.A sudden medical emergency, hospital stay, domestic violence situation, or house fire should never mean losing a beloved companion. We provide short-term emergency shelter and care for pets whose families are navigating these types of difficult situations and active guidance to keep pets safe during life’s scariest moments:
Immediate Crisis Placement: Fast-tracked temporary sanctuary care for pets whose owners are facing acute hospitalization, rehabilitation, domestic violence relocation, or disaster displacement.
Advocate & Social Work Collaboration: We partner directly with hospital social workers, victim advocates, and case managers to coordinate seamless intake authorization.
Active Resource Navigation: Our physical sanctuary capacity is small, but our commitment is big. If our runs are full, we don't just close the door—we tap into our network of emergency fosters and regional partners to help locate alternative solutions.

We know there's not a one-size-fits-all method to providing an environment that makes a dog feel safe and secure when their people are away (or when they don't have their people yet!)

As a non-profit organization, every contribution directly funds our mission. Public service contributions directly subsidize emergency shelter beds, expand our sanctuary infrastructure, and ensure high-need rescue animals receive the dedicated care they deserve.

Building for the Future: Our Expansion Vision

Our heart is big, but our physical space is currently small.

Operating as a private, 5-bay sanctuary means we frequently reach full capacity. Facing a shortage of emergency beds when a family or rescue is in crisis is the hardest part of our work—and it drives our long-term mission.

Where We Are Going:

Phase 1 (Current):
Providing dedicated, high-quality, trauma-informed care within our initial 5-run sanctuary space while building a network of emergency respite fosters.
Phase 2 (Future Goal):
Expanding into a dedicated multi-run sanctuary facility with dedicated isolation suites, expanded living-room decompression areas, and the capacity to serve as a reliable regional crisis hub.
